Hours: 39.75 hours per week, Monday – Friday, term time only
Salary: Hay Grade 4A, £25584 FTE (Actual £23727.39)
Little Stars Preschool, part of the Freshwater & Yarmouth CE Primary School Federation, is looking for a skilled, nurturing and enthusiastic Room Lead to join our warm and caring early years team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our 3–4 year old room, shaping high‑quality provision that supports every child to thrive.
About the Role
We are seeking someone who:
- Has strong knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework and child development
- Can lead a room team with confidence, warmth and professionalism
- Creates an inclusive, stimulating and well‑organised learning environment
- Builds positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Understands the importance of safeguarding and follows KCSIE guidance at all times
- Is reflective, proactive and committed to continuous improvement
- Has a level 3 qualification in Early Years
- Has GCSE C/Level 4 or above in both English and Mathematics
As Room Lead, you will oversee daily practice, ensure high‑quality interactions, support planning and assessment, and model excellent early years pedagogy.
